Graduated, married, and a nuisance to society

Summer is coming to a close and yet my life is staying exactly the same. Everyone else is getting ready for school and I'm over here like, "Oh good, all my Netflix shows are still here." I don't mean to be a TV junkie... I graduated from college and got married this summer. Quite the summer, right??Now I spend my days "looking for a job." I put the phrase in scare quotes because I feel as if all of my efforts to find a job get taken out with the poopy diapers in the trash. Because it really stinks. Some days I don't search the internet for jobs at all so I can build up my mental capacity for yet another heaping disappointment—because that's what each you're-great-but-we-don't-want-you email requires, a fully charged there-will-be-something-else battery. So on my off days of job pulverizing (because it's no longer just job hunting), I organize and re-organize our quaint new apartment. At least once a week my husband will come home and feel like he's in a stranger's house because everything is in a different place. My reasoning is always the same: "I found a better place for it." He's so patient. Thank goodness. And even more patient with my incessant complaints and inability to get a big-girl job. I sure do love him.
